PrismHR and Career Collaborative Partner to Help Low-Income Adults Connect with Employers

At the PrismHR LIVE conference, PrismHR, the leading HR technology software powering payroll, benefits and HR for small and medium-sized businesses across the U.S., announced a new partnership with Career Collaborative, a Boston-based not-for-profit organization that coaches low-income adults in finding and keeping quality jobs that have benefits and career potential.

PrismHR LIVE, the world’s largest technology conference for HR outsourcers, is being held this week, June 17-20, in Boston at the Westin Waterfront hotel.

Susan Yule, Career Collaborative’s President & CEO will be presenting to conference attendees, and will underscore the benefits of volunteering, donating and utilizing non-profit employment services. The partnership is part of the company’s PrismHR Gives Back program, which provides monetary and in-kind donations along with volunteer resources to a wide range of charitable organizations.

Since its founding in 1997, Career Collaborative has helped more than 2,300 families in the Boston area move toward economic self-sufficiency. Gary Noke, President and CEO of PrismHR, will join the Career Collaborative’s Board of Directors and serve as its treasurer.

“Unemployment is at an all time low, and the work that Career Collaborative is doing is truly a win-win for both low income individuals and employers,” said Noke. “We’ve admired Career Collaborative’s work for some time, and I’m excited to be a part of such a wonderful organization.”

“We’re incredibly excited about this new partnership,” Yule said. “Volunteers from professional organizations are core to our job preparation process, and our participants really look to them for real-world guidance. We’ve found that when our employer-partners hire our skilled graduates and then provide their own job-specific training everyone—both employee and employer—does really well.”
